How long we keep it

We keep booking and contact enquiries for [2] years after our last exchange, then delete them. Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Merch orders and invoices are kept as long as Indian tax and GST law requires, currently [8] years. Analytics data is kept for [14] months, in line with our Google Analytics retention setting.
When the period ends, or the purpose no longer applies, we delete the data or make it anonymous unless a law requires us to keep it.

  • Correct or update data that is wrong or incomplete

  • Delete your data, unless a law requires us to keep it (for example, order invoices)

  • Withdraw consent at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter, or the cookie settings link for analytics. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent and does not affect anything done before

Email [email protected] to make a request. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

The Site is meant for adults. Some of Danish's content is intended for audiences aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and the newsletter and store are only for people 18 and over. If you think a child has given us their data, write to us and we will delete it.

No website is fully secure. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as Indian law requires.

Data stored outside India

Some of our service providers, such as Google, may store or process data on servers outside India. We use only reputable providers with appropriate safeguards, and only send data to countries the Government of India has not restricted.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Site or the law changes. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will put a notice on the Site or email newsletter subscribers.
